Os atores Tony Hale (“Veep”) e Sheryl Lee Ralph (“Abbott Elementary”) anunciaram os indicados ao Emmy 2024, no inicio da tarde desta quarta-feira, 17 de julho.
“Bebê Rena” – o programa da Netflix mais comentado do primeiro semestre do Brasil – concorre como Melhor Série Limitada, Ator (Richard Gadd), Ator Coadjuvante (Tom Goodman-Hill), Atrizes Coadjuvantes (Jessica Gunning e Nava Mau), Roteiro e Direção.

O drama japonês “Shogun” conseguiu 25 indicações, incluindo para Série, Diretor, Roteiro e Atores Principais Hiroyuki Sanada e Anna Sawai e Coadjuvantes. Na categoria Comédia, “O Urso” lidera com 23, incluindo seus atores Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce e Liza Colón-Zayas como Protagonistas e Coadjuvantes.

Com isso, a segunda temporada de “O Urso” quebrou um recorde na história da premiação na categoria comédia. Até então, “30 Rock” detinha o número 22 indicações em 2009.
Outro recorde foi batido com as indicações de Lily Gladstone (“Under the Bridge”) e Kali Reis (“True Detective: Night Country”). São as primeiras atrizes indígenas indicadas aos prêmios da indústria da TV estadunidense. Ambas concorrem como Atriz Coadjuvante em Série Limitada ou Minissérie.

Após dividir o prêmio de Melhor Atriz no Festival de Cannes 2024 (com Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón e Adriana Paz), finalmente Selena Gomez concorre ao Emmy de Melhor Atriz em Série Comédia pela terceira temporada de “Only Murders in the Building”.

Quem entrou na corrida foi a ótima “The Gilded Age”. A segunda temporada garantiu indicações para Melhor Série, Atriz (Carrie Coon) e Atriz Coadjuvante (Christine Baranski) na categoria Dramática.
Também com três indicações, a surpreendente do Prime Video “Fallout” concorre como Melhor Série Dramática, Ator (Walton Goggins) e Roteiro.

E a 16ª temporada de RuPaul’s Drag Race concorre como Melhor Programa de Competição e Apresentador (RuPaul Charles).
